iPhone bug keeps Safari humming, and your costs running up…
Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 8:10PM …well, only if you’re not on the AT&T not-always-3G network in the US!
AppleSpot, of Estonia, has discovered a bug in the iPhone Safari that could keep Safari running in the background if you open a motion-jpeg file, and then close iPhone Safari.
I am shocked, shocked!
Who would have thunk that Apple could release shoddy software? Apart from me, that is.
And for those who think I’m jealous because I cannot get the iPhone in my neighborhood, you’re right.

Get an Android, dude. Oh, right....you don't trust Google. Sucks to be you. :-)
By the way, you need to make that original Mobilecrunch URL absolute.
The sad thing here is this bug exists mostly because AAPL only allows Safari and a few other "special" apps to run in background, so users are surprised when it does.
Android users know *all* their apps can multitask...
@MaggieL: So far, Android has not shown anything, so why the hype?
Until I see and feel for myself, I cannot take that ride.
Furthermore, I cannot shake the feeling that Google is doing some sh*t with my behavior, targeting some stupid ads at me.
